foreshore walk

Yesterday I went on a very long walk with a friend-we caught the ferry to circular quay then walked for 15.6km (nearly 22,000 steps) along the foreshore to Balmain. It's part of our plan to walk up & down the Parramatta river & around Sydney Harbour. It is such a beautiful way to explore our spectacular city. It's been a project that we started in October 2015 (see here) & have been taking opportunities when we can to get together & complete sections our walk. We have 2 sections of Parramatta river to go then we might make some plans to explore other parts of Sydney by foot.

One thing we really love is to see all the sights & colours from a different perspective. Plus it's always great to spend a day with a lovely friend.
