Today I walked from Huntley's point across the Gladesville bridge, then on to Birkenhead Point, across the Iron Cove bridge and all the way to Birchgrove & Balmain - nearly 14 km all up. I went with a friend and it's part 4 of our quest to explore both sides of the Parramatta river which leads into Sydney Harbour. It was a really pleasant day- I always love walking near the water. We discovered places where we hadn't been & saw things that were familiar (like the harbour bridge) from new perspectives.
I'm not sure when we'll go again or where we'll start & finish next time but it's such a great thing to do & as we've both lived in Sydney for all our lives it feels great that we can still visit places that we haven't been.
Here are some of the things we saw as we wandered over bridges & around the foreshore.

And this morning did not disappoint. The sky was very blue, the weather was incredibly warm & there was plenty of colour & texture to catch my eye in the views, the people & the interesting works of art .
I've posted about the biennale before in 2014 and in 2012, -its a great thing to do every 2 years.
